Hey everyone, just thought I would share a video here with you of the Afro Samurai/Samurai Champloo piece I did in a customers bedroom. It shows not only the 2 characters in the piece, but the whole room with the sky effect wrapping around every corner of the room.
I am really happy with the way this piece came out, and I think this video shows the work well.

Almost..... almost there

Hey everyone, as per usual I have a nice little update here for you. I'm not gona give time scales anymore for when this piece will be finished as it seems to be ever lasting, but I think the hard work is starting to pay off now. The actual piece is starting to take shape, the two characters are almost done, and I will be starting on the background tomorrow, which will hopefully bring the whole piece together.

Expect the Unexpected

Hey everyone, as the title says, I was expecting to have both characters done by today, but the complexity of this design continues to astonish me. So this is as far I have got with it today, I am hoping tomorow will bring greater progress.

In this picture - This is as far as I have got with the piece as of today (13/3/2010). All the main layers for the 2 characters have been applied, the fine detail will come next

Now then all my readers, I have a cool little update here. I thought that I would have both characters complete by today but some complications arose (as always in life, haha), so I will have the complete characters for you all to see tomorrow. Anyway, here are pictures of the progress I made today, not as much as I hoped as I mentioned, but progress non the less. The Vision starts to become true

Hey all, this time in my update I have some cool pictures to show you. You can now see that the second character (Ryu) is really starting to take shape, and the overall idea I had for the piece is starting to fall into place. I'm really happy with the way it is going, hope you all like it too.
